I turned 26 yesterday and I felt inspired to write this list of things I've learned and I want to remind myself. Hopefully one or some of them can resonate or inspire you.
sometimes you just need to accept things for what they are and let go of people, things, versions of yourself, “chapters” of your life, without any resignation, just gratitude.
make the people you love feel valued and loved. remind them how important they are in your life.
don’t forget to recognise your own achievements and how far you’ve come.
slow down. prioritize your physical and mental health as well as your peace of mind.
listen to what your soul, mind and body need in this moment of your life. embrace where you are right now.
don’t feel afraid to change. change your mind, your routines, your decisions, your habits. even if it’s with fear, do it.
keep creating memories with your loved ones. Share the important moments of your life with them.
believe in yourself and how capable you are of achieving your goals, projects and dreams, and get excited about them. stick to your goals and keep working towards them.
fill your life with love. for people, places, things, routines, the mundane, the little things.
let life surprise you. sometimes you just need to take life less seriously and let yourself have fun. embrace the things and people that unexpectedly come to your life.
never stop taking time for yourself, being introspective and reflecting about your life and everything you’re living. don’t let the busyness of life stop you from doing that.
simplify your life and what you give energy to.
believe in energies and magic in (your) life. Believe in connections and embrace them.
be mindful about what and who you make space for in your life. make sure it’s people and things that make you feel grounded, valued and loved.
keep traveling and seeing the world. embrace the beauty.
don’t forget you have the power to decide what you want in your life and what not.
find the balance between spending time with yourself and sharing life and special moments with others.
give more hugs and tell your loved ones you love them.
feel your life with gratitude. write gratitude list, feel gratitude in your body, say what your grateful for out loud and share it with your loved ones.
go one step at a time. don’t feel always in a hurry.
never stop working to be the best version of yourself.
learn to close chapters feeling grateful for what you’ve learned.
know your values and boundaries.
always be honest with yourself and others.
don’t take things for granted.
don’t be afraid of trying new things and going out of your comfort zone.
